Royal Hotel - Milan

They are remodeling the place and one should be informed about it before arrival! I felt like i stayed in a construction site.

The HOtel Royal is very good one... it's more than 2**. I liked the staff and the facilities in the hotel

Rooms were fairly clean and the hotel is located in a good neighbourhood not far from the city centre.

Staff was somewhat confused about the payment of the room, they wanted to charge us three times and we had to explain to tham that we have already payed.

The hotel itself is ok, the staff were extremely helpful and told us exactly what bus to take to get into town and drew points of interest onto a map he gave us. Good value for money

There is no sign at all so make sure you write down the address. The building itself is under renovation and the whole place smells of petrol. You would have to be insane to take the lift - it looks like something out of a horror movie.

The outside looks terrible, but once inside it is comfortable and everything works. It is not easy to find, so you need to have the address.

Relatively price advantage for low-income people. However, really unqualified and unfriendly personnel.

They refused to give breakfast even though it had been clearly stated in the reservation and they demanded extra 10 Euros for the breakfast. I demand 10 Euro return since I hadn't had breakfast.

Very good proportion quality/price.

The breakfast were good, but somebody who don´t like sweet it should be problem. Thin walls.

Only the location is more or less good - 1 hour by foot to Milano Duomo.

We could barely find the hotel as it's on the 3rd floor and has no sign outside, so you can see from the street. The room was hot and there were reconstruction works at the facade, so we were obliged to keep the windows shut. In the morning the man at the reception (seemed to be the owner) wasn't very polite. Breakfast is very modest. Room wasn't dirty, but it could be cleaner and generally is in other hotels.

The promixity of the suburb train and metro. the rooms were really clean and finally the price is good taking ointo consideration that breakfast is also included...

there were construction work in the hotel which was really noisy in the morning. This also give a bad impression at the arrival... The morning staff didn't speack a word of english that's a problem specially when we need details to know where to park the car...

If you are travelling to Milan and planning to travel by car to nearby cities, you may consider staying at this hotel for a while. It's close to main exits from the city. The neibourhood is quiet and has a lot of cosy trattorias and pizzerias where you can eat a lot for symbolic value.

The building is actually undergoing a major reconstruction, (romms face inside patio where the construction is going on) so expect brainswelling noise Mon-Suturday from 7.30 to 20.00, scaffoldings up to your window and workers walking by. Breakfast is awful - croissant, jam and crackers every day all year round since long ago.

The hotel plain lied and the staff was rude. There was no 'free' parking. It was 20 euros at a nearby parking garage or fight for a street parking spot that was too confusing to understand and just as expensive for overnight parking. The air conditioning broke the night before, interesting timing as it was the beginning of the spring/summer... The room was full of dust and construction was going on just outside the window. I have never complained about a hotel before after staying a night, but I recommend everyone to stay far away from the foul infested, lying hotel!

The best hotel with the best locations! I choose it in second time! so recommend again!

Good price for Milan accomodations

It's very basic and not easy to find.

Staff there was friendly and hlepful

I dont know why the toilet lid always fell down when i using it.

Unfortunately nothing was perfect in this hotel!

The staff didn't speak any English! The location was very bad and the rooms very small and had a bad smell! The breakfast was very poor (just a crouasan, a yogurt and corn flakes! )! I would never stay in this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone even if you find it in a good price!
